Health Science Class (a.k.a. HOSA)  is offered several times a day for Dual Credit through Vincenness University.  This class is competitive and academically rigorous.  The first 6 weeks of class consist of lectures and testing.  After the first 6 weeks, each student that has a cumulative grade of 70% or higher is eligible to go on career clinical rotations.   Rotation sites consist of a variety of different health care professions and the multitude of environments those professions can work within.  Students choose 7 different sites for themselves and one must be a Long-term Care Facility.

Admission information is available at your guidance counselors office or click the links provided to print off the application and teacher evaluation forms at home.  Completed forms must then be turned into your guidance counselor.

Students must fill out all forms and turn in applications by April 1st deadline each Spring.  Each student is responsible for applying and turning in both forms by this date.  Students are required to have a one teacher evaluation form completed for admittance to the program.  Each student must provide a transcript (unofficial).   After all forms have been submitted there will be an interview process at each school.  A parent meeting is arranged around this interview time, so that parents can be informed about this program and all of it's requirements.
